The location, the amazing local cider, the home grown BBQ, the lack of pretension, but most of all the way its put together and the atmosphere it creates.
What is the most memorable moment from Hamswell Festival 2006?
Fiona Bevan's set on Sunday afternoon was completely amazing and an absolute treat, but I don't think I'll forget all that was going on Saturday night for a very long time it was like a big open air carnival or something....
What are you most looking forward to in Hamswell Festival 2007?
Lots and lots of music and a little bit of chaos...
What bands, groups, collaborations, collectives/hive-minds are you involved in or have you been involved in, and are not too embarrassed to mention?

I don't have an audio career I design, and I make furniture. In that career I have had to overcome my dislike of large sweedish furniture companies and consumer tat.
Why did you bother? Where's the magic? What do you hope to achieve with all your mad skillz?
I bother because I enjoy the creativity and innovation. For me the magic is in the approach and execution, I get a kick out of figuring out a simple solutions to a complex problem or feeling I've created somthing original. If I acieve an honest living with time to enjoy the good things in life I'll be happy, some appreciation of what I do and some recognition for it would also be nice.

Why did the chicken cross the road?
It was looking for adventure.

Sorry Pete, that's wronger than three hairy fat men sharing a bikini. The correct answer was in fact... "To get to Hamswell Festival!"" The only one of you to give the correct answer was Richard Samuel Tugwell aka The Beatniq-Freq. Congrats Rich, you have won... the chicken. Yum! Save some for me ;)
